DENVER, CO – Over 50 clinicians, digital health entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists gathered at the Commons On Champa yesterday for Prime Health’s Digital Health Boot Camp. Featuring presentations on healthcare reimbursement models and discussions of intellectual property rights, the daylong event familiarized attendees with a wide range of topics related to the field of digital health.
The Boot Camp began with Michele Lueck, president and CEO of the Colorado Health Institute, and Chris Underwood, director of Colorado’s Health Information Office, describing the state of healthcare in Colorado. Its afternoon session featured a lively physician panel at which Dr. Arlen Meyers of the Society of Physician Entrepreneurs declared, “Healthcare needs to be re-engineered.”
There was widespread agreement among those present that healthcare was undergoing a profound and necessary change. CyberMed News attended Prime Health’s Digital Health Boot Camp and took photos of the event.
